Dailyjunk Presents : The Top 10 things that will destroy our world
Ok well its universally accepted that at some point, at some stage, our world will be very close to destruction or will destruct. Whether that is due to us as a human race or a huge amount of rock hurtling towards our planet, No one knows.
What we’ve decided to do though is give you a top 10 run down of not only some of the most likely things to happen but also some of the most destructive and well, funniest ones that could occur. We hope you enjoy the list.
Number 10 -
Ice Caps Melting
Well as the Earth temperature rises *those damn pirates* our Ice caps are slowly melting and causing the sea levels to rise. Now if of course you haven’t been sitting under a rock for the past 20 years this won’t come as such big a news front.
What will alarm you though is a illustration of how signifcant this rise would be to say perhaps, London, New York etc.
Fingers crossed with alot more incentives in today’s working world and a can do attitude this is one problem we can eliminate without much devastation.
Number 9 -
Plagues
Now which one of you older un’s remember’s the great plague of London from 1665 - 1666? Nope didn’t think so but thats a bloody brillant thing, the black death caused more universal deaths than any other known illness.
The black death caused the population of Europe to drop from 450 million to an estimate 350, in only a few short years. Luckily with today’s advances in medicine the Black Death if it did return would be treated well or quarantined quickly.
Failing that a local fire at the Bakers could do the trick…
Number 8 -
Yup that’s right Google. Not only are they taking over the internet and computers but soon they will take over our lives until it’s fashionable to wearing Google baseball caps.
We will all start rating our friends on their pagerank and choosing dates depending on Meta Keywords and Meta Descriptions, it’s going to be a world not worth of living. Of course I’ll be ok, this baby of a site will sort me out a few lovely ladies I’m sure…
Fingers crossed any overpowering google mind map will finally lead men to multiple orgasms.
Number 7
Evil Genius
We’ve seen the Dr.Evil from Austin Powers and we’ve seen some of the most crafty, witty villians ever on movie screens but what if one actually came true and wanted to destroy the world?
With their British accents, love of wine, fine arts and charming dialogue who are we to stop these amazing, highly cultured masterminds. This one could be extremley serious and we need some good old beatings to start.
Incidentally I’ve heard these genius hate football, it’s like kryptonite or something!!!
Number 6
Nuclear War
The End of the world at a touch of a red button, but will it ever occur, could it occur in today’s day and age? Of course before we knew how the world would react our lives and loved ones would be charred corpses on the ground read to be swept up by Trigger.
One thing is this possibly shows the most likely and probable end of our miserable, worthless lives. Better get shagging before it all ends!!
Like I said, GET SHAGGING!!!!!!!
Number 5
Earth’s Axis Displacement
Now despite my education, my cultural background. I don’t know squat about this which is why I’m happy to quote this from Pravada.ru

The displacement had increased to 451 kilometers by 1965. If the core continues moving towards the Earth’s surface, the planet will simply turn over itself in space someday.

Aliens
MARS ATTACKS Could happen! Ok maybe the real aliens would have such comedy timing as these guys but still it’s extremley likely there is an alien race out there. How can one race exist in such a vast amount of time?
The very thing which will all play across our minds though are they for good or do they wish to destroy? Which ever way it turns out the human race and everything we know would be in grave danger. Bring on the 3 boobed women!!!!
To defeat them puncture their helmets!!!!

Supervolcano
Super volcano’s do exist and are going to happen again. The most recognizable super volcano is in Yellowstone. Although it hasn’t blown for ages, the cycle of blows indicates one is due shortly.
What’s the difference between a normal volcano and a supervolcano? Well this video might explain…
Number 2
Asteroid
It’s happened before and it will happen again. We have to remember we’re a planet in a solar system full of useless amounts of rocks colliding into things. The last time it happened it wiped out the dinosaurs? Do we really think we could outlast it if they couldn’t?
Nuclear winter and ash would fall for 6 months leaving all plants and wildlife mostly dead or dying. This is a possible outcome for our demise, the next clash is scheduled for 2020. Cya at the end of the world..
No doubt theirs a bunch of surfers riding that wave…

Robots
As Robots get more advanced the clever they will get until the point where they will be able to think for themselves and be able to turn on us, their masters.
The key tip to making sure your Robot will not kill you or turn on you is simple.. Buy a robot similar to the ones in “Batteries not included” so quite and dinky those little things couldn’t hurt a fly, failing that buy a junkie robot. Just don’t feed its bolt addiction…
